Entry Requirements

Undergraduate Degree Programmes/ Diploma Programmes
The general requirements for admission are 2 passes in GCE Advanced Level examination and 5 Passes inclusive of Credit passes for English & Mathematics in GCE Ordinary Level examination.

Those with G.C.E Ordinary Level qualifications may enter the Degree/Diploma programmes on completion of an eight - month foundation course.
Advanced entry options are available for students who have prior qualifications in Business or Computing/IT fields.

Masters Degree Programmes
General admission policy to enrol in a postgraduate programme is a Bachelors degree equal to or higher than, Second Class Lower Division(2:2). However students will also be accepted for the postgraduate programmes, based on AP(E)L policy of SU. In general admission criteria will be whether the students are likely to be successful and benefit from the respective study programme.
   
• M.Sc. in Computing Programme
As a conversion M.Sc., students with non-IT degree or background are eligible to enrol for this programme. Admission, course and enrolment enquiries Click Here
   
   • M.Sc. in Technology Management
Students with a Bachelors Degree in a technology or business related discipline, are eligible to enrol for the M.Sc. in Technology Management programme. You will be notified of the outcome of your application and, if accepted, issued with an Offer Letter. Please note that you will be required to submit the following documents on enrolment.
- Certified true copies of all academic accomplishments e.g. certificates, results, transcripts, detailed syllabus/course specifications if applying for exemptions.
- 3 passport size photographs (Name and NIC/Passport no to be indicated on reverse)
- A photocopy of the passport
- Letter of recommendation from a non-related referee or, If employed letter from Employer
- Bank Draft for registration fee and other fees (as advised)
