‘Shaping Futures – Higher Education and Career Fair’ at APIIT

September 13th marked yet another milestone for APIIT – Sri Lanka’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative; CSR projects are undertaken with a view to contributing to manpower development and socio-economic advancement of the country.

APIIT- Sri Lanka takes the pride in sponsoring Sri Lanka Model United Nations 2008 held on 11th, 12th and 13th of August, with the objective of creating youth awareness on global issues such as education, human rights, gender, environment and giving them an opportunity to voice their views and learn from the dialogue forums and at the same time propose solutions to address the issues discussed.

APIIT Career Guidance Programme

On August 9th, APIIT – Sri Lanka shared its knowledge and resources with the community, opening up a free Career Guidance Programme for the youth aspiring to embark on higher education and careers in the future. As part of the corporate social responsibility drive, APIIT most generously planned this event to enhance the awareness about the education and careers opportunities available for the youth.

Staffordshire University Opens Sri Lanka Office

APIIT offers full scholarships worth Rs. 1.2 million

The Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT), a leading higher education institute in Sri Lanka awarded 10 full scholarships last week for academically promising and financially needy students. The selected students will follow a full-time study programme in Computing or Business Management at the APIIT City Campus in Colombo leading to a degree awarded by Staffordshire University in the UK.
